Your assessment of Carr is inaccurate, here’s a refresher from last year. It won't let me embed the video, so you gotta click the link that says "Watch on Youtube" after you click play. Carr threw for 4,049 yards on 381 completions last year, an average of 10.63 yards per completion. Compare that to Tom Brady who threw for 4,355 yards on 570 completions, an average of 7.64 yards per completion.
Wow, thanks for the numbers. I stand corrected. But for some reason, it just doesn't pass the sniff test to me. They don't add up and I can't put my finger on it. Kinda like Kaepernick throwing for 20 touchdowns and 4 interceptions with a qb rating of 100 or whatever during his last fling with the 49ers, and had a 1-10 record. numbers don't lie, but they don't always tell the truth lol. but those numbers are interesting, thanks for the stats
Anytime! His stats got muddled with the Raiders overall disappointing season. He started out a bit slow out of the gates under Gruden's new system and with all of the changes being made the team was in disarray for a while, but the team rallied around Carr and they won a few games in the 2nd half of the season once they stopped unloading players and they got the young bucks out there and performing. During the time the media was reporting that Carr and Gruden weren't getting along and fresh off the Mack and Cooper trades, he was playing some of his best football, refusing to throw an interception for what seemed like forever. Carr is a legit Pro Bowl QB and will make a big leap forward this year I believe.
Yeah I'm a Carr fan too. He's kinda slipped a bit since that big injury, but he's gutsy and smart. If Gruden and him ever get on the same page, look out
Crazy right? Good for him. Made the most out of the opportunity and now he gets paid... and the eagles got a super bowl. Everyone won
So the Raiders also signed Lamarcus Joyner from the Rams and Trent Brown from the Patriots, in addition to Antonio Brown, and they still have 3 first round draft picks. Wow. Looks like they are going for it this year.
Yup, they're making moves. Let's see how well they draft. Bortles is not going to the AAF lol I've seen a dozen AAF games, and I have yet to see a qb that's competent enough to be an NFL backup. They even benched Hackenberg for crissakes
LOL Yeah I was kidding about the AAF. I have watched some of those games and they aint half bad, better than nothing I suppose. It's like a developmental league for the NFL. They need a good farm system. As for the draft, we have 3 first round picks and so far Mike Mayock is doing a great job as GM, hopefully this trend continues and he and Gruden draft some solid franchise players.
Any Giants fans out there? How is Landon Collins. Did we get a good player or what? I always liked him from a far but my Redskins are getting roasted for the signing.
