ok, well i know we hate repeated threads (like this one).. but i have searched the threads for the past 15 mins, and i couldnt really find a legit answer..... well this is the question, i just got a used board and it has a sick spray on the bottom, i really like it and dont want it to scratch away. So what can i put over it to pretect it, but not efect the board. I was thinking clear cote, but i remember using it once and it washed all the paint away, but, when it would dry it felt kind of sticky (i think).. If someone could give me a good simple answer, thatd be awesome, and tell if you used it and how it came out. thanks

clear acrylic like said above, however make sure you tape off the non painted part and cover it with a towel, or else you will have like shiny overspray on the rest of the board. :p

after clear coating, use 1500 grit sandpaper to take it down a little and smooth it out. you should be set after that
