Springmaid Pier 4-5 ft?!

just check surfsidesurfs.com and they have a pic of springmaid. it is kind of far away but if you see lines way out you know to check it.

I usally do take pics of the good waves, but i just broke my cam and i get a new water proof one foe these bigger waves.

 

this entire thread is just ridiculous. everyone knows that it doesnt get bigger than like thigh high in south carolina. is this some kind of joke all you guys are in on? or did you really mistake a waist high wave for overhead?

Guys, I was on the beach taking pics that day. It was waist to chest but chop. There were a few nice set rolling through though. I attached the pics to this post for the non-believers. I don't know these guys in the pics but they were getting it this day.

Nice pics Beachin77. Those waves do look fun for this area and I would've been stoked to surf them. I think the orig poster of this report was a little overzealous on his description but no doubt that there were some waves to be had that day.

Hit it in the morning..

For the past couple weeks, the mornings have been pretty clean, and it starts to get choppy in the afternoon. Then the sharks come out to play..

if you guys would spend as much time crying on line like old women , and out rideing the waves, life would be better.

The reason i Posted the size that day is because when " The Wave " that rolled by us was huge we sat out there for a good 5 min and talked about how big the waves was, thats what we came up with , I have been in the ocean in sc a many time by my self , in a storm or a cane when the waves are def head high , it doesnt happen often but it does. so saying all we get is knee high is crap....
