might go board shoppin this wkend (yesbbptherebutdonttellhim). anybody - straight up- so damn proud of their board they think i should get one? and why is that?
I've loved every board shaped by Mike Doyle. If you can find one, get it. If not, get a Tim Nolte, Mikes apprentice.
DFR-Channel Islands. By far the best board I've ever owned. Rips in anything from waist high to well over head hollow surf. I love the amount of tail-rocker this board has... really easy to release the fins. Well worth the $$
Quite fond of this shape available at my local shop: http://www.demarcosurf.com/index.php/surfboards/40-board-pages/78-mini-log That said, I am still sticking with Phil Taylor custom shapes for my new boards. I just don't see myself buying another new board anytime soon. I kind of like buying beater boards.
nice. the veneer is soooooooper. could very well end up w/exactly that. bbp - not sayin where cause i don't want to paint myself into corner.but yeah prob there.
Looks like a fun little board. Buying custom is more fun in my opinion, but if you are a standard sized dude and can get one that works for you off the rack, I could beat the waiting and anticipation of going custom if you're not a patient dude. I can't call anyone soulless. I bought a surftech off the rack which I still surf all the time. If that's soulless, F-it, see you in hell.
