I've seen more sharks kill seals than I have seen sharks kill me so until I git got I'm still gonna surf.
There are however way to many seals focking up the fishery which sucks, but keeps the sharks away from me. My friends dad was the one who saw the orca. Earlier this week a shark bit a seals tail but didn't kill it, and it was slowly cruising along the shore just letting the current take it as it was dying. People took out their phones and walked alongside it filming waiting for a shark to hit it. Focked up. Then IFAW showed up and started talking about how they were going to harness it and save it. Let the bast@rd die, it's nature. The poor thing looked like it just wanted to die, and IFAW was just harassing it with ropes and an entourage. The capes a prime place for sharks and seals so I have no say in their ways, so until they get me they haven't got me. Yet.

There's that...and because of all that...food...cape cod is becoming the wacarnolds of sharknado land

Also, it's national seashore so all that shyte is protected...and the seals know this, they dolphins along Virginia beach taught them how to read while they were on winter vacation

I saw that bite in person and still doubt the diagnosis. I think it was a big seal that thought his leg was a striper and the lack of any real attack expert in these parts led to the GW theory. Seriously if it was a white it had a bite radius like a rottweiler.

The real problem is the overpopulation of humans on the cape. Just ask the generation locals.

whenever the sharkie topic comes up,i just think about all the surfers in nor cal,and everywhere else in cali...and Australia ,and Africa....so many ppl surf in cali and oz and u rarely ever hear about an attack.theres a couple a year.there are instances where attacks aren't reported worldwide on the news.and they have big sharks lol

only real place to be worried is reunion island, and none of us live there.its been bad there for years, like u go in the water u get bit

It's an ancestral memory thing. Centuries ago there were things that would and could eat you out there. So now that we've dominated most of the environment and there are very few actual chances of being eaten alive, those few chances fascinate us, and not just surfers, all of us.

Did you see the video of the woman getting eaten by a tiger 2 weeks ago in a safari park in asia? Hundreds or thousands of people must have died in odd ways that same week, but the whole world all saw the tiger attack.
