dude I'm with you. I never subscribed to this surf shop mentality anyway. I think I can relate when you say that this forum is your surfing community. I like the surf talk and I also like all the nonsense and shenanigans that go on on this site. Let's not banish people other than spammers, let's allow some freedom here. Well said / dog

Careful guys Sandblasters already got axed for expressing similar thoughts! We got 2-3 new mods I saw registering accounts earlier so Big Brother is watching.

 

hmmm yes freedom is good and it is great but the questions is can freedom of speech be kept on a forum? it is already being weeded out of society, people everywhere are being jailed for it. im sick of people walking over the constitution like its a piece of trash.

yea I agree with everyone on here.i like the forums because theres always some funny stuff going on.yea u might learn a little something about surfing,but the classrooms in the ocean.so lets keep the forum as its been,sad to see everyone getting banned.theres not going to be any funny ones left and then whats the point?

 

That's fine, man...I received a deserved infraction for use of vulgar language and I accept that and realize I was wrong...my apologies to those that were offended by my words.

I love this forum. I have learned a lot and try to help people as much as I can, but I also enjoy the jabs and comedy...I realize it has been getting a little out of hand, but I would be lying if I said I didn't get a good laugh out of the happenings from a few days ago.

I appreciate all the work Micah puts into this site, and do not take it for granted...

...but, like Slashdog said I will not drop my sense of humor.

I hope this does not get deleted but I too am scared of the direction this is headed. Posts are getting deleted, people are getting banned for simply expressing their opinion. I can come to terms with ending the thread hijacking and even stoping the overt fighting in someone's thread but removing any post that mentions "that other surf site" or talks bad about the direction the forum is heading is completely un American. I also find it funny that a few folks who generally do not participate in the poo throwing are stating their fondness for it in this thread, although that leads me to believe it will get locked as the others did.

I actually got an infraction earlier for posting some more jokes in that old thread Gaffer made about how to delete your account. I saw someone in the "who's online" part looking at that thread. I went to read it and saw all the jokes at the end. I added four new ones that were not vulgar or offensive and the post was deleted and I was warned for trolling! How is that anything other than contributing jokes to a thread laced with them?

 

Hey RACECAR, that's a palindrome. I never come on here on the weekend, but I had a feeling poop was going down. I joined this site two years ago after lurking for about 6 months to defend SJB. I get good info and actually try to give some when It's in a realm I feel comfortable in but I really enjoy the craziness of the off topic posts. I'm glad people have been able to get unbanned and have been able to astral project into different entities to get back on. Anyway I'm stuck in this effing wet suit again and no amount of KY jelly is working... Suggestions?

I was thinking about the state of the forum. It really is not that bad except for the few with multiple names. As for me all and all, a lot of the rants are unnecessary and vulgarity is just unacceptable. We all have a lot to learn and we all have gifts to teach others. One suggestion, if you see a thread I start show self control and stay away. It is not religion, it is JESUS and surfing. It goes hand and hand....kind of like waves and the ocean. I am not going anywhere and I will keep it clean. This has become part of the mission. Fun aye!

wayne i love jesus but you contradicting yourself you need to mind your own and not try to political correct people.

 

To be honest man I think you are the 1st one that needs to be banned. You are taking advantage of SI to advertise your camp/mission or whatever you like to call it and members advertising on here is against the rules. You know we were told that if we want to argue then to do it via email or PM then you need to do the same. Anyone who wants to talk God with you knows you are here.

My ONE Suggestion to you is post a simple thread that says no more Hey Zeus talk, if you want to talk about it PM me. Problem solved and then you can post all about surfing to your hearts delight. I just think it should be a two way street, some don't want to read hate and some don't want to read scripture!

 

Surfing is for brothers of Moses and knowing that he died for me and how the Jews killed Jesus is how we all lived for children and that Christianity is backwards and if we subsist there shall be repent and I am the 3rd revelation I am the chosen one not this Jesus not that cross but it is the Jewish race and I'm a computer
