I have a Macbook and im trying to capture stills from videos, i can't find how to do this anywhere. Anyone know how ? Im not good with computers.
on my computor I hold down Ctrl and press PrtScSysRq U can also put it on ur video editing program and there should be an option to take a pic of the vid.
Command shift three my good sir, it should pop up on your desktop as picture 1, 2 etc. This would be a better question for google, not a surf forum haha
also, try command-shift-4. That brings up a cursor and you highlight the area you want to capture as a picture.
Crosshair capture tool "Control" + "Command (apple key to the left of the spacebar) and "4" key will give you a cross-hair tool that you can then click and drag to highlight what you want to capture. It's usually saved to documents or desktop (depending upon your preference setting) as "Picture 1", "Picture 2" etc. The format is usually low res .png, but you can pretty easily save it as a .jpg with the Preview application or Photoshop.
also, download this free , industry wide standard tool, http://www.squared5.com/svideo/mpeg-streamclip-mac.html very easy to use and has many applications.
