Obx was fun as **** today. Nags head was pretty perfect all day. Barrels everywhere and found the sandbar that was pretty much the best in town. Pretty cool. Bummed cause I creased and pretty much snapped my favorite board at the lighthouse. Legitimate 6-8ft and dumpy as hell. All and all it was a great day. Hope everybody else scored 757
scored yesterday, but only for an hour...but that hour was one of the best sessions ever - funny how the shorter the better sometimes. today up here was meh. cross-shore chop, mushy, and closed out...managed a few good ones, but many more not so much...shoulda called it good earlier than the three hours i spent out. oh well. sorry about your board, but at least it sounded worth it
Yea it wa totally worth it haha. I got closed out a lot at the lighthouse. It was freight training down the groin. The lip broke it haha. But that's the first board I've ever broke surfing. Had some great barrels on that thing. It was a magic board for them
At this point, i wish i could even remotely say this i am so far lacked in water time right now because of work....really kickin' myself in the a$$ for not getting on it today. sucks 'bout your board, dude.
Yeah its toast. But those waves looked ridiculously worth it. At least now it gives you the opportunity to snag up a new board. Thats always a nice thing to have. Especially goin into winter.
yea ive been talking to my shaper about a new board anyway so i guess ill just have to speed up the process. im going to have him take a look at it just in case he could do something but im pretty sure its donezo.
Was only able to get out for a few hours yesterday, so I couldn't drive south...I heard that it was good. no idea that it was that good. Stoked you scored! It was chest high and clean here in vb. Not too bad for around here.
