Just want to share my stoke... Thursday night came down be ready for the surf in on Friday and to baton down the hatches at the beach house. Rolled out with low expectations because OC was closed, AI was closed, etc. I'm not going to name any spots, but I spent the time to check out a bunch of spots and found one that was firing around 0930. I was the only one out there for two hours and then two more guys showed up, and probably 10 or so in the next hour or so. Waves weren't huge, but solid head high waves, with some power. Really got some sweet turns. I had felt like I was going crazy without waves for so long. Anyway, it was sweet to still be able to score a quiet spot on this crowded coast, especially in a hurricane.
