Delmarva local and world traveler Dean Thompson came home from an extended stay in Mexico last week and found that someone had ransacked his house and stolen 15 surfboards acquired through years of traveling and surfing. Deano is offering a $1000.00 reward for any information leading to their recovery and/or the arrest of the thieves. Be on the look out for well used exotic guns from South Africa and classic longboards- especially a cherry Greg Noll Stemwinder that Dean rode religiously. Contact the police or Dean by calling 410 251 7062. Gracias.

not sure if this is the right section for this or not, but, i have some classic guns of south african origin that i'm looking to unload. they are pintails, so i've had a hard time kneeboarding on them. if someone could relocate this post to the for sale section, that would be great.

damn dude, i got my funshape stolen last summer, I got it back cuz my friends mom found some kid carrying it to the pit, you'll probably find it, cuz the person who stole them is either going to surf them or sell them, and if you know what your boards look like you'll be good, and you should post some pics of any of the boards so other people can keep a look out for it

Does he have a pics of the boards that were stolen?

Was that the only stuff taken? Good chance it was somebody he knows. Although, maybe just coincidence that someone interested in boards came across his house while he was on an extended trip.

It is probably someone who knows that he was away from home and what belongings he had. Also, possibly someone with drug issues. You need to contact the police as they will contact surf shops and pawn shops in the area. I had a break-in to my home 2 years ago and my kids X-box, games and a handful of DVD's were stolen. They were all found at a pawn shop by police and I got them all back. The person whom pawned them (signed off on paperwork at the pawn shop) was arrested within a day after I reported it and it turned out to be a neighbor with a herion addiction.
