whats everybodies favorite stomp pads that they used, goibg by grip, look, feel, texture, etc. mine are, 1.X-Trax, because its good grip and they have cool ones. 2.Dakine, softer but a little less grip 3.Kommunity Project, softest no arch and ok grip
Not to be nit picky, but I think it's called a Traction Pad man. Stomp pad is for a snowboard (I'm assuming you're talking about surfboards). Not sure you want to stomp on a surfboard. Too fragile...
well of course surfboard, but everyone has a different name for it, i used to call it a traction pad but everyone said i was wrong so i got used to saying stomp
we refer to them as stomp pads in california as well. Most commonly, they are used for "stomping" out the end of tricks. Traction, stomp, its all the same. I use primarily OAM (on a mission) stomps pads (cause they are free =) but before they gave me those, I always used dakine. Any traction pad will work. They aren't very high tech. Just make sure you stick that sucker on properly. On any shortboard, I say a good traction pad is a must. There are so many time they save my landings. I have a retro fish with no pad on it, but thats about it other than longboards and my mini gun. FYI, after a year or so, they all start to fall apart. I have yet to own one that stays fully intact throughout the lifetime of a board.
