Okay so I am a tech idiot.... I can follow my posts?!?! And ignore stuff?!?!? Wow I just thought I had to be super nerd 5000000 to be on top of my game. Come north, ski Killington, stay at my house, eat my woman's food, and train me to be an SI lord. Thats a fair trade.
haven't really had much of a problem on the west coast with water quality. When I first moved to LA, I surfed el porto a lot and got earaches bad enough to need prescription drops. The Chevron refinery is right there on the beach, so the water always had a rainbow oil slick on it and smelled like gas. Once I moved north, it got better, but I still get some mild earaches...probably due to pigeon sh!t in the water by the pier. I sometimes can still smell what I'm guessing is petroleum in the water...very faint, though. Thing about the runoff from this storm is we've already had two decent rainstorms this year, prior. Pretty sure all the really nasty stuff already washed away a few weeks back. I'm feeling pretty good today...but Hep-A doesn't hit until a couple days after exposure...then goes away...then comes back a week later so much worse, you feel like curling up in a ball and dying. Been there (mex).
