I've been listening to a lot of old Numan lately. Thanks for the tip on the new album. I've also been cranking "The Stranglers" again. Any fans? "The worse crime that I ever did was play some rock 'n roll." New Stuff? Tame Impala.
Down in the Park played on my mp3 today.

That was very good. Thank you. I've enjoyed these music threads. They've helped broaden my horizons and provided an opportunity to experience and appreciate other artists and styles of music that I might not have been exposed to otherwise. Despite what many my age (58) say, there was good music after the 70s. I was actually just enjoying the mostly heavy metal soundtrack from the movie Rock Star. If I may suggest (this is addressed to all - including myself), that instead of spending a lot of time on the computer, learn to play a musical instrument. Or go back to playing, if you haven't done it in awhile. If you enjoy listening music, it will increase your appreciation. It's also good for the soul and something positive to do when you can't surf. Time for me to go tune up the ol' banjo.
Check out the music of Forrest Smithson. Ambient music. Great for alpha-beta waves so we're alinged just right to hit some waves. His music is being heard all over the world.
How bout Jack Johnson? No one posted any of this yet.
