Not sweet advice, SUIT advice. I currently have a Rip Curl Flashbomb 4/3 with the E4 material. I am thinking about upgrading to the newer Flashbomb with the E5 material. But, it looks like Rip Curl is moving towards all zipper less suites. I think this has been asked on here in the past, but I am asking again. Anyone try one? Likes? Dislikes? Yadda Yadda For the record, i am not going to try a different company, Rip Curl is the only suite I will wear.
I love my Ripcurl Dawn Patrol 3/2, it's old and works like new. I will one day have me a nice new one but it's still holding up. I have other suites, but my Ripcurl fits and feels the best.
Agreed. I have a 3/2 and a 4/3 dawn patrolwith back zippers. Like to keep it old school style and the price was right. Very durable. Worthy of brand loyalty for sure.
My Flashbomb is a chest zip and I also have an E-Bomb chest zip 3/2 and a DawnPatrol back zip 3/2. Love me some Rip Curl. And there is really nothing wrong with my current suite, I just want a new one. HA HA HA
I like the chest zip. Have had my 3/2 dawn patrol since 2014. Some seams have blown out and the zipper pull tab ripped off, but it works. Cut off the arms and made it a john suit. Perfect for colder summer days. The rip curls seem to fit my body best.
I am old which means prefer suits with zippers. I had an oneil zipperless a while ago and hated getting out of it. My suits are all rip curl chest zips.
Havnt seen the new ripcurls suite But I remember when the whole chest zip thing became popular ripcurl had a zipperless suite like 15 yrs ago- entry through an overlap in the shoulder. I had 2 or 3 of those suites and loved them...
