Anybody know how likely it is to find a job on the Outer Banks if you just go down in May and apply everywhere?

have you ever been there in the summer time? they have to important people to work there cause there are way more jobs then people , the hard part is finding enough people to be roommates cause unless you got a free house for the summer your going to spend a ton in rent

Go to one of the realty agencies and ask them for a job cleaning houses. I worked for outer beaches realty and only worked on the weekends. The time i spent cleaning went directly towards rent, utilities, and everything else that has to do with the house. AC stayed pumping and never had to write a check. Once my debt was payed off I started to get paychecks from them. I also worked at Dairy Queen in Avon during the week. All of my friends I lived with got jobs around Avon and Buxton at the local stores and restuarants. I straight balled out that summer. I got $9 hr plus tips at DQ. All that money went towards beer, drugs and condoms. Just dont start dating a local girl, they are trouble.... bang out tourist chicks!!!

Yes the realty place did give us a place to stay. It did take most of the summer to pay off our rent but like I said we only worked on the weekends. About 12-16 hrs a weekend, thats why we worked at other jobs during the week to pay for everything else.
