summer swells

    From da east, taking a trip in june to explore everything north of LA up to San Fran. what are the odds i get surfable waves for 2 weeks straight?

    Good. Tons of beaches.
    I'm sure you'll get good sets - even in June.
    Sounds awesome! Moving back to Cali in August. :)

    where's my beaches at?

    ummm. depends which part of Southern California you are talking about. san diego will be better than LA area, but you aren't going there. summer generally does not bring in huge swells because we rarely get storms unless it is an el nino year. also, we do have a heat issue in LA/Orange counties which creates wind onshore after 10 am on days that are over 85 degrees inland (most days in late june-early sept). there will be consistent small surf throughout the season. it is rarely flat. that being said, expect 2-4 ft avg in the south and another foot or so in the north. have fun
