The surf looks near pretty small for the early morning in maryland. The buoys are showing the long period swell, and in fact more energy than the model is showing. Its pretty close to dead low right now... And generally these longer period swells do much better with the higher tide (as we were talking about in the previous post). So, hopefully we see some improvement later this morning as the tide fills in a bit. High tide for OC is 12:30pm. The winds will trash up any surf we have this afternoon, but they shouldnt be too bad for the morning hours.
