yeah you have to go there when its big like that = the majority of locals can't make it to the outside. If its under chest high then just skip it, b/c you will get dropped in on, every wave.
made the drive to ny and was totally rewarded w/ some overhead, very powerful surf. ny is really where it's at on the E swells
