What are you doing for Super Bowl Sunday? Looks like i'm going to get lucky with some tasty waves in the A.M., hopefully with a couple friends, we'll see. Then, I plan on grabbing a case of beer and going home to watch the game and eat spicy chili and guacamole prepared by my wonderful wife. Nothing fancy, just want to see a good game and hopefully see the Dirty Birds knock the Patriots off. Who ya got?

Yeah we'll usually grab all the ingredients together and I decide what goes in it, but she likes prepare and cook it, especially for special occasions. I always taste test and add my little tweak to the recipe. I like it so hot that I sweat and need a cool wet towel after.

I've gotten some of my best waves during the Super Bowl. It's amazing how uncrowded it gets.

I'm not a big pro sports fan. I'll watch a football game from time to time and I almost always watch the Super Bowl. I hope for a good tight game that could go either way. Blowouts suck. I don't really care who wins but I usualy root for the underdog. Besides, my sister's husband worships Brady so he needs to get knocked down a peg or two.

Mainly I'm hoping to get some of that swell down here. It's not a solid forecast so I may have to go a little ways upcoast. Been over a week since I got some surf and I'm jonesing.

Yep the Dirty Birds are gonna have to step up their game to compete with the Pats juggernaut.

But Matty Ice is the type of QB that can carry a team on his shoulders. Both team's defenses have looked strong as of late.

No skin in this game personally, just want it to be competitive.

I'm a Dolphan so hoping Patriots get beat, but Frost has it correct, the fix is in, or they are just the better team, but I'd be mighty surprised if they loose. There is a big soft spot in my heart for the G-Men for ruining their perfect season.

Regarding waves, yes plans are to surf a nice reef in the mid am to noonish, if anyone wants to come PM me, it's in Jupiter, should be semi glassy and chest plus. Once many years ago, early 80s, Super Bowl Sunday, it was almost flat am, then noon its a head high north groundswell, by four it was breaking out by the bell buoy big DOH plus lefts freight training into the inlet. Me and my buddy Wade Mac Daddy the only ones out. There would be six jet skiis pulling tow ins if it broke like that now.

Regarding food, going to a party, my wife is making beef on a bun, in a big crock pot, (the buns will not be in the crockpot), there will be wings, meatballs and other delectables. Too bad work is Monday, we should all have the day off. Enjoy! And Tom Brady must die! Bastid.

Speaking of chili...last Saturday my wife entered a
chili cookoff that is held by the village, combined with a car show "Hot Cars and Hot Chili".
It was lots of fun, she made awesome chili, we ran out by 3 (it started at noon), there were 12 contestants. She did not win, but it was lots of fun. So after the cookoff we had a birthday party to attend....

And I forgot to mention we decorated her booth Island style, I brought our 6 foot tall Tiki Man carved from sable palm to adorn the tent. Got a big splinter in my right hand....

So the party is on Singer Island at a Tiki Bar, and since Tiki Man has no hands, and had never been to a Tiki Bar before, he made me do bad things,I danced with a woman, not my wife, and was spanking her butt with my Tiki Hand repeatedly, and my wife saw it, and freaked, She's still pissed, almost cancelled us going to Super Bowl party, did cancel us going to DKs concert (it sucked I heard). I told her Tiki Man made me do it, she didn't think that was funny either. Just another cautionary tail.

    First:
Go watch Rutgers crush Indiana at the RAC at noon.

    Then:
Go watch the Patriots beat the Fal-coons.

Brady's got a lot on the line, I'm sure he wants to embarrass Goodell after that Inflate Gate debacle.
