No denying that the pier handles small surf better and is always crowded b/c the easy access. But I was watching pipeline.tv or SS from the other day when it turned offshore and saw about 3/4 SUP's out there in the mix. 7 miles of barrier island to sweep and they hit the pier? I think I saw a bronze tear fall from Yancy's immortalized eye.
