I am not an artist but I do have a picky eye for surf art. I like simple but original looking works, I would assume that is a hard thing to accomplish as an artist...good luck to ya.

    Nice work!

Have you ever thought about submitting to the Surfers Journal? Heres a link to their editorial department: http://www.surfersjournal.com/Editorial-Department There is something about the composition and tone of your pieces that might work for them and compliment some of the writing they publish. As a long-time reader of their magazine, I have always been impressed with the range of surf-related artwork theyve used. You might also see if any local surf shops would be willing to hang some of your pieces. I have done a considerable amount of writing and research on the subject of art, literature and nature. Recently, my attention has turned to the ocean and its influence on musicians, writers, and visual artists. If youre at all interested I started a microblog a couple months ago called Nautilus, Circa 73 as a place to showcase some of the images, music, and people that impress and inspire my own writing and artwork. Heres a link: http://circa73.tumblr.com/

i have been surfing my whole life as well as painting and drawing. i think art through the eyes of a surfer is extremely unique because as surfers we view the ocean in a different way then other people therefore it shows in art. I recently did a whole series of oil paintings based off of the New Jersey coast and i incorporated surfing into each painting. it was by far my favorite work i have done yet and it showed in how well they came out.

I'm an artist. Don't know if it's specifically surf art, but it's mostly inspired by the ocean, so maybe.

H20, cool work. Not trying to steal your thunder, but here is an another example of some very cool surf inspired art: www.carvinart.com. Full disclosure, I have known the artist most of my life, but his work is very cool with som crazy board carvings and wood burnings.
