im headed to northern jersey for my friends graduation party saturday. was thinking of hitting up the shore on sunday to get some waves. i am used to OCMD and having certain beach spots for surfing but i am unsure of how jersey runs their beaches other then charging people to use them.

not looking for secret spot names or anything just where surf beaches are around mansquan inlet area.

    thanks guys

... Manasquan Inlet is the biggest "surf beach" there. Each town usually has their own. Be prepared for a crowd, even if its flat.

Sandy Hook gets good. You can even see the New York skyline from there. Tell your friends, and bring your cameras and smart phones. You may get posted on Surfline before Sturgis does.

7th St in Ocean City is balls, man. Killer. Waverly St. too. The lifeguards are experts whistle blowers. You'll be safe and secure. And then, THE BOARDWALK, oh my God the boardwalk. It's extremely wholesome. Good family fun. It's the safest, nicest place in New Jersey besides Colts Neck and Asbury Park.

If you dig excitement and a more inner-city vibe, nothing beats Atlantic City's States Avenue. Just pull into The Trump Taj Mahal parking garage, and try to dodge people like Craig Arno and Jessica Kisby. Have fun walking through the casino with your surfin boards. You'll be quite a spectacle. People will think you are cool. It's a beautiful beach, totally awesome. You like shopping carts and rebar, right? Well, who doesn't. Hey, how do you feel about feral cats?

Guys, please let us know your favorite New Jersey summer surfing beach. Best submission wins a box of Lee Press on Nails and some moisturizer for that winter dry skin.

My lips have been chapped since December. That's a way to tell who be surfing during the winter or not.

HEY YOU, LET ME SEE YOUR LIPS !!!
