Laguna is a fickle place and your best bet is to drive south to Salt Creek. Its not hard to find, just below a large resort on the beach. In Laguna there is Brooks and Thalia streets that catch some amount of swells but Laguna is notorious for getting more island shadowing than any where else. Dana point is the next spot south of Salt Creek and if your going to go that far, you might as well go to San Clemente or further to Trestles/San Onofre. Not much going on to the north untill you get to the beach breaks of Newport through Huntington and your sure to find waves there, but likely more wind too.

to the north about 15 miles is west newport jetties from 36th to the river jetty. Also, up to huntington.

to the south is salt creek and of course trestles.

    ripe it up
