Does anyone know why the forcast for Pensacola drastically changed for the better on Thur, May 3 and on Friday, May 4 it changed back again, even though NOAA still shows the same forcast it did for Thursday with winds out of the SE 10-15?
Hey, P'cola is looking at some Easterly swell on Monday. Because the angle of the swell is parallel to the coastline in Pensacola, a small change in the wind/swell direction can make a big difference on how much swell makes it in to the beach. On Thursday, the models were showing more SE in the direction, which is better for the P Cola area. The latest weather model updates are showing more E/ENE winds.. Keep an eye on it!
