Looking like the waves will be pretty solid this week in New England. Not only that, the precipitation will be brief and the sun plentiful most days. Let's hope this holds up.

I know things have been up and down this winter/spring season, but is this the start of the last hurrah before things die out for the summer? What is to be expected from now til June 1? I'm asking as this is my first season in the game. Been out 3-5 days/wk since February 1 and every day for last 2 weeks.

From now until the first week or second week of June is usually pretty kick ass, just be prepared for spring time trade winds.

As was said, the waves goes flat like a pancake run over by an 18 wheeler around the second week of june and then it comes alive like a lion last few days of august(usually a macking hurricane swell). There are days of swell here and there of course in between that, but 2 week flat spells are common. Very frustrating.

    Thanks for the info!

Last night was 8-9ft here & I busted out the gun and dropped in on some fast rides despite chop. Had some great wipeouts too! Forgot to pick up wax so I was sliding all around.

This morning was straight football fields of unbroken peelers at 6-8 feet. Caught a bunch of them & they were great until side shore kicked in & looked to be a second swell getting in the way. Was able to sneak in for a drop in just before the two perpinducular sets broke together. This afternoon is supposed to be cleaner with 6footers. Hope I can find time to make it back out.

Tomorrow 4-5ft glass with long period & sun in 65. Waves through next week too. This is what you guys have been talking about!!!

It's sunrise right now at 5:45AM on a day with CLEAN 4-5FT MEDIUM PERIOD WAVES ALL DAMN DAY. I woke up, made some homemade wax since the shop was closed yesterday, turned on Riding Giants and some EDM while I ate some fruit and pounded water and a Monster energy. Sitting I'm my heated truck now watching the sun come up and stoked to get better today and have a blast doing it. Feeling privileged.
