My wife and I are planning a trip to Puerto Rico in April and I was hoping to get us a day or two of lessons. Anybody care to share their knowledge or personal experience on this one? I've surfed for a few years but have never had proper instruction and my wife has never surfed in her life. Im not expecting miracles, just a good time and a reputable, professional operation. <br />thanks
There's surf lessons all over the place, depending on where you say - most of the places will offer surf lessons. There's a shop right by Marias that offers lessons. Ive seen them in the water and they looked to be having a good time.
ramses morales certified instructor all around good guy just ask for him on the beach at marias or domes or google him
Google SURF 787. Roger Wagner. He's got everything you need and is a nice guy to boot. His top instructor's name is Nego. He is the best on the island.
Guys, Carlos from the boarding house. He used to own the burrito stand next to Brizas circa 2003. If you don't know who I'm talking about delete your posts above. He's the man. 'nuff said. www.boardinghousepr.com
I don't know this Carlos- but just a thought- why would he be owner of the Boarding House if he hates gringos? I have not met him- but have only heard good from the many gringos that I know who have stayed there
Bueno, Is Ramses your boyfriend or something? You seem quick to put down everyone else s recommendations.
sorry there earl but i know the deal here - if u want a lesson from someone that is average at best as a surfer then go with 787 brazzo or that hoodrat from mayaguez - ramses is isa certified instructor and is more than capable in surf from 1 to 20 ft - surflessonspuertorico.com - check trip advisors if u dont believe me
