    ebola news today from n.y.times - should last 18 mos more, over 100k more cases expected, it will
    be contained. also liberia begging for american help as situation bad...

    I read that also Baddy, it was alarming to say the least.

    With their limited resources, they are currently unable to stem the spread of this contagion - our head of CDC visited and said it's an exceptionally underfunded and under-staffed mess. Who knows how much worse it could truly get, for the sake of these poor West Africans, I hope not much.

    I'm very happy to live in the developed world. Though, if Ebola spread here, I would probably leave the city. Outer Banks would be a safe, isolated bet.

    add to that that some of the "doctors" practice medicine by day and espionage by night.....look for
    the ones who talk about how great "god" is.

    Yes, cases are doubling every week and still little international help. Obama now sending a bit of help, but not really anything that really matter.

    People are dieing everywhere in the streets and have no hospitals to go to.

    In worst case the virus will mutate and might get airborne. Then the hole world is ****ed!!!!!

    So help West Africa PLEASE!!!!!

    Ohhh man you are so right, good to hear that some people really know what is going on.

    It's like living in this strange world 500 years behind, but they all have an Iphone.

    Hope that governments around the world soon will understand that Ebola soon is something that will effect the hole world.

    Pretty interesting article Ebola experts are hanging out on Reddit, answering detailed questions about the disease from panicked strangers in order to separate fact from fiction

    i think going out in conditions a little bigger than you are comfortable with is good to challenge and humble yourself, so next time a wave that used to look so tall or wide, isnt as much.

    today much talk in america bout how we should help (duh).
    obama pushing for euro-help and others going in w/portable hospitals.
    there is at least some help on way....

    Yes, that's true.. Now there is tons of focus on the situation and help is on it's way.

    But numbers are raising so quick that every time new mobile hospitals are showing up they are full right away and still people running around with the virus spreading it.

    Now the situation is so bad that it needs a large scale operation from all western counties.

    My guess is that it will have the same end as the movie "outbreak" from 1995.

    help is on the way. any info about "airborne" factor i will pass to you. if obama seems reluctant, well, he's not,
    but he is SICK AND TIRED OF DEMANDS that he and only he is responsible for this problem. he's not. but
    he is going to help anyway.

    By the way as I remember from the movie "Outbreak" they ended up bombing the hole area, to make sure the virus would not spread!
