surf stinks stay in bed

It was the opposite here. 1' was predicted but there was a 3' windswell in the am.

 

Was 2-3' at my spot. It was alright to f around for an hour. Peaky, little bowls.

To tell you the truth I was just diggin' the offshores, 'cause I've been getting screwed by the winds the past few weeks. It was a nice morning weather-wise. And who knows, it may be the last true offshores for weeks....months. May be the last 2-3', clean, swell for weeks......months.

It's June, and I'm still in a winter mental state. I'm still getting shocked when I see people at the beach. It's like I missed the spring transition. Though, we still got snow in the beginning of April, so I reckon there wasn't much of a proper spring, which is cool.

Hey, it's mid-June, and the winds were NW and there was a little bump out there. What the he!!. Ya know what it is that I be sayin'? Nothing a little Kasser's Vodka won't fix.

 

the break I was at was fun this morning, waist with some occasional chest high peaks off the jetty. came in from that session and still had some nice waist high lines coming in. grabbing some lunch now and about to head back out in a bit. hoping it will be a little better with the tide out farther since it was kinda flooded early this morning. ill take it though, I was sweating in my 3/2 and couldn't be happy even if some of the waves were mediocre. I'm doubling down on these waist high day days though cus you never know when a month to two month flat spell is going to come up. keeps me in good shape too if a random chest to head day comes up in the summer. like dodging landmines going down the line in the summer with all the peeps out haha

Dudeski I don't know what your taking about... BELMAR NJ was off the hook this morning! It was at least a foot or two bigger then anywhere else and peeling - rides to the beach. Such a great break- if you need directions to get there- let me know

Yet again a Belmar reference. Creative.

 

stomach - head high sets here (at a smaller spot than usual, but less summer crowd - in fact no crowd at all today, kind of astounding) but a little junky...still got me a couple good rides over a two hour span - i get a free 5 hr pass for father's day tomorrow, hope it cleans up and sticks around until at least 10 AM!

 

we live in the east coast.. ill take these tiny waves this time of year. I was a little disappointed though too. I was hoping for some powerful surf this morning. I left content but the stoke tank not filled.

 

Nutin here in VB, forecasted or actual. I keep hopin n checkin for a ride-able ripple.

 

Pretty sure baddy knows it was fun. He was trying to throw everyone off to keep the crowds down lol.

 

Full moon made the tide super high yesterday AM... still some fun ones at the right spot before and after high.

 

Why that would be downright dishonest, and on the internet no less. What if someone didn't drive to check it because of that?
