gitcarter would say he's wearing out yo' mama, but I'll be more civil. Depends on water temp. Air of 45? 3/2, booties, maybe light gloves if the push down the coast is severe & it's a 10 minute walk back up the beach into those NNW gusts. Wearing light booties & gloves due to the wind chill not water temp in the mid-60s. Judgment call on the gloves once on site. My 2 centavos. Thinking about hitting the place that shall not be named on Sunday & then south for VB on Monday.
Looks like there is going to be some fun waves out there no matter where you are in mid atlantic . Just check the weather and suit up accordingly
Bros. Temps of air and wind are no obstacle and shouldn't be a question of you are EC Swellers. The only factor should be wind speed which may be in excess of rideable swell even if offshore. Let's be sensible folks. Warm hands and feet does not make a shredder.
16-20ft here with winds in 40s. Miraculously receding to 2-3 feet by morning. How can we not get a good morning sesh out of this with winds like that?
It's peeling right off the sand where I'm at right around high tide... Dem off shores is pretty gnarly though!
Dudeskis- it was going off today. Only guy out- peeling lefts all the way to the beach. Jawnski- where did you go? Belmar was 23 ft barrels bro! Hard to get motivated today... Cold with the winds. Wore my old 4/3 with hood and was perfect with all the wind- didn't wear gloves cause waters so warm ... Until walking back to my truck- hands frozen and numb.... Shredded on my new board- totally stoked! It's got channels!
Aw man youz are some mark busters! Was the heavy drift and blind drop ins too much for youz? I was in LBI and it was great! I feelz bad for youz I feelz bad for your mumz even...
Dude you missed it... All I gotta say.... Maybe you went at the wrong spot/time/tide... Idk... I just went down to check it and it was peeling. All lefts. To the beach.
