Not even past 8AM and I already see 10+ in the water on the middle camera. Everyone has been frothing here the last few weeks I don't blame 'em. I never go there anyway just thought I'd share an observation.

My local cam looks pretty good. I don't even want to look tomorrow when it cleans up and I'm still stuck at my desk. :(

Already went it was decent early, glad I don't work until Thursday! I would like some more size though so let's hope it fills in tomorrow and the rest of the week.

i was checking it from the beach around that time...there were actually more like 20 heads in the water and the waves looked beat. checked like five other spots, then scored decent chest high punchy waves at the last spot we checked.

I just got back from OC I checked it up on the North end and there was tons of people out . Dropin were going on almost on every wave like someone was gonna flip the switch and turn the Wave Machien off???? I went up South a few blocks to Park Pl . I scored a really nice session . It was really mellow and there was some nice chest higt waves coming threw. Some times depending on the wind they were a bit bigger and they were lineing up nice . Definatly and good session

north end oc is almost always a cluster...really gotta time it just right to get it empty or low #'s. i've had a few evening/sunset & dawn patrols up there, even in the summer, w/ relatively small crowds.
but i would generally prefer to go elsewhere, even if the waves are slightly smaller.

Yeah I came come to that concusion as well. The place I was at today was really fun . I think there was a total of 6 people out and eveyone was geting waves. It had a good vibe and good convo in between sets. It was definatly and Non competive vibe which I am all about. I think I might hit this spot more often and up by the pier more

there are places between the pier & sea isle that are better...somewhere.

i surfed w/ just 2 other guys & 2 guys who failed to get out (one of which didn't have a hood?!?) today.

Yeah I wanna get out of going to where I know there is gona be waves first. There are so many good spots from OC to Cape May that are never crowded and are really mellow . I do some more searching. I use to go to Nuns alot I alway had a good time there. One place I never ventured is Strathmere. I might give that place a peek next swell . If anyone has any good tips on that place pm me:D

Nuns was a great place. Great surf for the 09 contest. The storms really beat the hell out of the beach. I hope it comes back. There are some good longboard spots at Diamond Beach also.

hopefully nuns will recover...a very fun break, but another of those "big name" breaks in cmc that gets too crowded for its own good. when i lived down there, i was a bigger fan of old man's, which is just a bit further north. a great logging wave.

looks like next weekend could be interesting...

    Park pl

I was out there as well from about 2 until the sun went down. Had to take the hood down for a bit as it was pretty warm out. A much needed session. Some solid a frames coming in too. swell was weird at times with the two directions coming in.

Caught Frisco, NC absolutely firing yesteday, overhead offshore barrels. So fun. Didn't get any pics, but it was nearly perfect and mostly empty.
And down there, it was no gloves, no hood and sunny.

So much fun yesterday and not many guys out in Monmouth county. I had two sessions and both with just my bros; what a great day! now I'm at my desk itching to get out of here and jump on it again. I love all the camera talk on this thread, just get off your computer and get wet!!!
