I'm looking for ideas for a surf trip in late Oct/early Nov - April time frame. I'm in NJ and I'm looking for a relatively quick get away 4-5 nights max so I'm somewhat limited to where I can go. I've been to Costa once and El Salvador (Sunzal area) twice and I'm looking for some suggestions. Level: I've never surfed reef before and I'm not really comfortable in overhead surf. In Costa Rica I mostly surfed Grande and Nosara and it was great (mostly chest to head high). Caught El Sal pretty good on one trip and so/so on the other. Puerto Rico - I considered PR but not sure how consistent/predictable the surf is and wasn't so sure about the crowds and reef. Costa Rica - I would love to go here again but it seems very difficult to pull off on a 4-5 night trip. Any suggestions would be appreciated. ________ Vapor Brothers Vaporizer
