Surf Trip to RI this weekend...

    Heading to RI this weekend with the family. ANybody reccomend any hotels, restaurants, or attractions in the area? Ill be surfing at surf spot called ruggles I will surf.Any other sweet breaks? Do you need a wetsuit this time of year? The family got some at a steal at OSJobLots I was thinking of brining

    Naragansett is really good plus a number of spots between there and Judith Point pending tides and swell direction. Definately need all the rubber this time of year.

    Is point judith next to Ruggles? Is ruggles a beach or what.. will there be waves for the kids to boogie board on? Somebody said this was the Hawaii of New England. If Ruggles is as wild as our last trip to Honolulu we are in for a treat.

    What is a rubber? Like boots or like a rain jacket. Sorry we arent from here so we dont know local language dialects like wetty and firing.

    Ruggles is a world famous surf break that is comparable to the bonzai pipeline and other famous surf breaks in the world. Kelly slater has surfed ruggles

    Ruggles is in Newport. Point Judith is in Narragansett. Look on google earth.

    Wait, wait, is this a joke? You're from springfield mass, you don't know what kind of suit you will need and what the water temp is, you think ruggles is a beach, and no, there aren't going to be little waves for kids to boogie on, it will be flat, and they would need to wear a 6/5/4. I don't know about anyone else, but this kind of seems like a joke to me. And you've been on SI for more than 2 years. I don't get it.

    Kookie, those Joblot suits will be fine im sure. I picked one up a few years ago and use it everyday. Super warm and ultra flex. I dont know why anyone would get anything else.
