Maybe try lestoil ... you'll get the added benefit of that old school industrial fragrance.

THIS IS A RITE OF PASSAGE FOR WOMEN.

Take notes here. Women learn in their early 20's either to not mix their clothes in with men's clothes when washing or to check the men's pockets for pens, markers, loose change, loose bills, pretty much anything, including wax.

So, your girlfriend has learned this and it will serve her well throughout the rest of her life.

If she wanted to date a woman, she would've dated a woman. However, she is dating a man, hence, there will be some differences that will take years or a lifetime to iron out-- such as leaving stuff in pockets, not being interested in talking about feelings, not noticing subtle facial expressions, intolerance for a lot of cuddling, and so forth.

Bravo Betty. You should do seminars on this and related topics.

    Betty knows whats up.

On a side note -laundry...worst chore ever? I'd rather clean toilets in my house, at least I don't have to come back to them an hour+ later to make sure they're dry.

I do clean toilets and showers and the kitchen in exchange for never having to **** with laundry. Laundry sucks, and my girl takes the wax out of my pockets.

The only things worse is a 13-year-old son, it makes laundry an adventure.

Laundry: Put clothes and detergent in washer. Turn on washer. (Time Elapsed 30 seconds) Go do something else for 45 minutes. (Work out, run, meditate, do yoga...) Put clothes in dryer.(Time Elapsed 30 seconds) Go do something else for an hour. (Maybe even go surf) Fold or hang laundry up, while drinking a post sesh beer and/or watching a vid. (Time Elapsed 10 minutes) What are youse guys doing? Beating your clothes on a rock? Fetching water from the well and heating it over a fire? :D

Laundry is so much more difficult than that. I bet you think vacuuming is easy too, don't you ?

If all else fails, as a last resort, try borax. Maybe mix oxy clean with it for a one two punch. That borax is some old school serious stuff. Cleans laundry, works as PH up in the pool, and when mixed with powdered sugar and water is awesome ant killer.

As a last last last resort, try old school GOJO hand cleaner. Not the citrus crap that is popular now, but the pure creamy stuff that comes in a tub. Only available at select auto parts stores. While I've never tried it on clothes, it works like magic on hands. Worth a shot.

On a marginally related note, I melted a whole bar of wax in the drivers door cubby of my wife's car, and there was a handful of shells my kids collected in there also. It's been a Waxy shell display in that door for 2 years now and she never even mentioned it. My wife is pretty awesome. I never do laundry, but I occaisionally put away a neatly folded pile of my clothes. :)

This is a great thread. Reminds me of olde times.

Gaffer hates Sticky Bumps, says it tastes bad. I like the texture though.

Whut is this "washers and dryers" of which you speak? I thought rocks and fire-heated water was pretty standard? heh.

But yea the folding is prob the worst part. Ever tried to fold wimmen's clothes? Might as well be toddler garments. Take a t shirt and its easier to bundle it with another like a pair of socks rather then trying to precisely fold something the size of a dinner napkin.

Thank you all for the ideas. Fortunately I mess up frequently so this wax thing got thrown on the back burner as newer f ups are on the front one. I have a plastic bag she labeled "wax clothes" now that will sit until I get around to it. Or until she gets around to being mad about it again. Not over by a long shot. Sincerely thanks to everyone for the ideas. Ill let you know of any progress..

This is great to hear all the time. Glad you were able to blow this off so far as well. Now that this has been pushed to the back burner, I recommend that you dispose of the bag of "wax clothes" as soon as possible. Don't wait till the last minute, DO IT NOW! If they no longer exist it will be much more difficult for her to bring this episode up in the future.

Please, you must tell us in detail of your newer fvck ups so the SI Life Advise Team can help resolve those issues as well. For example, Barry can advice you on the latest in ED/PE treatments. We do a great job with that and I like that all the time.

I am watched like a hawk. Posting on here is grounds for a two-three day talkin' to at least. I was lucky to get through the last posts unscathed. "Why you talking about me on the internet?" And "whos that girl poster?" Etc.. I got a lot of the wax out with oxyclean palmolive soap and a sponge. Once again, thanks for all your help.
