Picked up a 5'6" Chemistry Fiberflex fish and it appears to have some damage on the underside with a significant amount of the epoxy layer gone. I know it needs to be sealed but was wondering how much it might cost, what needs to be done, and if I could just do it myself. Thanks for reading and any advice would be appreciated.

As you can see in the last pic the previous owner attempted some type of repair that I believe needs to at least be sanded

    Try a Miata.

As in, "Miata get another board."

    Where do you live?

50 bucks and you buy me a small batch of epoxy resin and we're square.

That said she might always be a hog.

Where did you buy it and why didn't you examine it??? Ask yourself.

It's a large area to repair, but the repair is fairly easy, as it's a flat surface... Some prep work, a simple single layer lamination, some fairing, hotcoat, sand. You could do it yourself if you mix your small batches of epoxy by weight if you have a digital scale (small batches are hard to proportion accurately by volume).
