Sorry for the loss man. I used to live in Norfolk (half hour from VB), went out for a morning surf and hurried back to get to class... Got all of the way to Norfolk and realized that in the process of taking my scuba suit off and getting in the truck i had left my board behind the car. I immediately turned around and headed back to the beach almost sure that ***** would be gone... Came around the corner... no board in sight. Looked a little more and found that somebody had stashed it out of sight behind row of bushes... Somebody was looking out for me that day. Also... While i lived in Norfolk i used to leave my board in my jeep all the time. Anyway, somebody smashed my driver side window and broke into my car. Stole my IPod touch (pretty sweet tech at the time). They didn't want the surfboard for some reason though... wounder why...
atleast u didn't run the board over lol.the only thing in my car is garbage.a thief looks im my car like eww,Im not even going to try that.biggest thing is surfing stickers on ur car.they know ur in the water so they can take all the time they want.thieves are everywhere, dont slack off. right now if somebody broke into my car, they will have about 45 cents worth of nickles and pennies, some old scratched up cd's that barely work.iv had my car broken into before, not on the beach, back when I thought it was cool to have a nice looking ride.those days are dead and gone,im a fukin slob now,my car is a rusty piece of shyt, gears always slipping, they probably couldn't even figure out how to drive it off the lot.oh yea and surfboards,I only bring 2 most of the time,1 stays in the car hidden, the other 1 is in the water
I have always left my boards inside my car--I know it's a pain in the ass when it's firing. However the new IRI parking lot makes the trip less of a burden.
