Will you take a free bump for each? This is the first.

Proper prices for used boards on this site are as follows:

"Used only like twice" - $500
"My cousins grandpa shaped it in the 70's on the north shore" - $500
    "But he's originally from EC" - $1000
"OBO" - should be around $500

Some will offer you aboot tree fiddy... It's up to you if you wanna take it.
It'll probably be one of the better offers.

Thank you for putting my own distance from a tidal body of water into an optimistic perspective, dude.

You have a good day, sir.

    Thanks BWM.

    Sounds like a good weekend.

    Nice video too.

P.S. I never thought I would say this, but for some reason the the thought that "I miss emass" just crossed my mind. I have no idea why. Sometimes weird thoughts just cross my mind and I have no control over them.

    Mr. Monster.

The Mini is fast and skatey. Soft rails and a whole lot of width make the board really forgiving (pretty much impossible to fall on this board). The flat deck makes your feet feel locked in.

It can catch a ripple. Of course its not that much fun to surf a ripple but you can ride one if you really want to on this board.

Works best in softer or slopey waves. When the waves get steep, you will have more fun on something else.

Actually, I think I am in love with this board. Do you think I am making a mistake by selling it?

Speaking of love and making mistakes.... My wife was just watching the bachelorette and this chick JoJo was crying because she thought she was going to pick the wrong dude. And she is "in love" with 4 men at the same time.

Is is possible to be in love with more than one surfboard at once?

    And have you seen JoJo?

I have 8. Love them all dearly. Even used multiple boards in one day - They don't mind, they just want to see me happy.

Mr. Belmar. I'm on LI and have a 6'3 single. I'm not selling it on CL. It's not vintage. Selling it hasn't even crossed my mind. But hey, if a trade or something can be arranged maybe we can do something. Feel free to PM me.

Again, never thought of selling it. I love the board. So don't get your hopes up. Or you're friends hopes up. But if there's a fish or mini sim type shape in good condition I think I could consider it.

    Hey Mr bassmon,

I think my buddy one has cash at this point - no other boards to trade... I will double check with him.

Thanks so much for looking out!!!

    Hanna. I appreciate your comments.

In my opinion though, the ms excelled in mushburgers.

If I rolled up to the beach, looked out at the surf and saw mushburgers, I would ride the ms over a shortboard, longboard, or fish. Catch more waves, get through weak, or flat, or crumbly sections. Actually get some speed and make some turns. Would rather have the ms than a shortboard or fish in mushy conditions. Point break I would rather surf something else. But that's just me.

Maybe the magic wore off for me and that is why I am selling it. I LOVED this board. But now, I am a bit bored with it. I'm actually looking to get something like it but with a bit more performance built in. Yes, the ms, has limits, like any board does. And I always get bored with my boards and turn them over every five years or so. If I get the right offer for this ms, I will take it. If not, I would love to keep it in my quiver. I'm sure, it will be fun to go back to after getting a few new boards.

Dam# you hanna and Monster. You are making me want to hold onto this board and not sell it. You are making me feel all nostalgic about this board and I haven't even sold it yet.

I agree....long soft walls are where they come alive. Anything really peaky and pocket they don't seem to really fit into the wave.

Pretty sure Bob Simmons originally shaped them for the long flat types of waves preferred by surfers of that era. Beach breaks and hollow tubes were not generally ridden iin the 1940's and 1950's. Even the most modern tweaks with fins and foils can't completely compensate for the board's originally intended purpose.

But they're great boards for their specific purpose.

Yep, the ms definitely works better on long SOFT walls.

The ms was still more fun in mush than a shortboard or fish (for me).

And yes it doesn't like anything too peaky.
