This aint a surfing question, so don't freak out immediately.
I do think that surfers may have a lot of input on it though as our manhood is always on the forefront of our daily activities:
when you have a baby boy do you
    - circumsize?
    - leave natural?

Dont you dare and snip him!!! (unless you're a heeeb then... well you know)
otherwise, just teach him to clean ( its not that hard) and keep it the way GOD intended.
    GREAT QUESTION !

Circumcise! don't even think twice, Male circumcision greatly reduces the chances of urinary diseases, and lowers your risk of contracting HIV, cervical cancer, syphilis, and chlamydia. The Jews had it right for thousands of years, so when in doubt - snip it out.

Okay....so surfing has NOTHING to do with manhood. Your ability to surf doesn't make you a man, and an inability to surf doesn't mean you are any less of a man. To think one has to do with the other is stupid.

And therefore that means, this question is not appropriate for this forum.

That all being said, it is a very good question. I believe one should put great weight on such a decision.

As a women, I can tell you that I'd love my man either way......he is judged by his ability to be a compassionate kind human being. He is measured by the strength of his character and the love in his heart. He is treasured for the depths of his soul, not his body. I give myself to him fully because he is a man, he is my man.

BUT as a younger women, it would have freaked me out. I'd be WAY less likely to do "things" to and with IT. Once he shows one girl (teenager) word is going to get out. Maybe it will make him "interesting", but I suspect it will just make it hard to get laid. Which could be a good thing. IDK

    Good luck!

My father wasn't and he had occasional but painfull issues with it. One time the skin got caught in a zipper and when it healed it healed almost shut! He had to have it cut open so he could pee. He told me they gave him a shot to numb the area "that hurt like hell" in order to cut it back open. After that he swore if he could go back I time he would tell his parents to cut away, lol.

Did you really just come to a surfing forum to ask whether you should circumcise your son or not? Priorities bro...

It's not entirely clear to me that this is NOT a surfing related question. Has anyone every studied the relationship between circumcision and a surfer's performance? What percentage of top pro surfers are surfing with their foreskin intact and what percentage are not? Is it greater than that of the overall population and if so, what is the correlation? And for the average surfer, what advantages might there be to having foreskin? A bit more insulation for that chilly winter session? I, for one, have never found surfing without my foreskin to be a disadvantage, but then again, I have never surfed WITH my foreskin so it's difficult for me to say. Now all I can do is wonder.

    bottom line

Circumcision is a bizarre religious ritual. Genital mutilation. No longer recommended by American Academy of Pediatrics, and for good reason. Educate yourself.

    Why are Jewish men circumsized?

Jewish women won't touch anything unless it's 20% off.

I guess it all depends if you want your kid to look like he's got a turtleneck or an anteater.
