Now, to totally gross you all out, from spongedude's article (not the cosmo one): Yeah, don't circumsize him, like the fruits and nuts say, so he can get chlamydia and genital ulcer disease. When you get mad at your daughter-in-law, you can at least know you got revenge by putting her at risk for cervical cancer. Nice. So either snip him or have him be a monk in a raincoat.

your child is not your possession...he/she is an individual person. You have no right to make unnecessary modifications (scars) to any part of their body, just because you're their parent. Does deliberately forcing pain on your offspring, right out of the womb, make sense?...it's the seed of failure. Postnatal male circumcision has become a billion dollar business in the US...it's now ingrained as another disgusting part of our economy. People aren't smart enough to realize it's not a postnatal requirement...and doctors don't discourage it because it's paying for their Mercedes or whatever. Would you consider doing this to your daughter?...some (insane) people force female circumcision on their daughters, too. The christian/jewish and muslim dominated countries are the only ones practicing this barbaric, outdated and masochist elective surgery. The other 85% of the world do not. Circumcision as an HIV/disease prevention is as stupid as it sounds. Teach your children properly and you won't have to resort to half-assed medieval practices.
