    Herro,
WTF dude? She already got your balls in her purse? Man the f*rk up and tell her to get use to you going surfing for crying out loud! The wedding is hers the honeymoon is ya'lls. If she can't be away from you for a few hours a day you need to f*rkin' run now. Wake up and give her some love then go surf a couple hrs, come back and do something she wants repeat.

    welcomme

She better be hot if you're this whipped already. Remember no matter how hot she is you'll get sick of her chit at some point. That's what the time apart is for. PS this works both ways by the way.

Dude- I see that your new around here. It's kinda a right of passage to start a hello thread to introduce yourself- otherwise you will not get and really responses.

Ok - maybe you still won't get any real responses - but at least you might get a few.

Anyways- here is a good suggestion. I don't know how much money your wanting to spend- but if you want a nice moderate place to stay that's not like over the top of anything - here it is. The view from the rooms if awesome. You get the ocean and also the marina.

    http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Re...Hotel_Luxury_Suites-Honolulu_Oahu_Hawaii.html

I went here for our 1 yr anniversary and it was a hit all around- for both of us. There is a Hilton right next door that's slightly nicer.

There is a break right out front- like walk out of the hotel - walk down a short ramp and across a parking lot to the water to paddle out. Ala- moana (sp?) one of my favorite south shore breaks. You can also go a few blocks down (15-20 min walk) to queens beach in Waikiki and you can rent a longboard there for your wife- the waves really roll in there slow- softest break ever. Plus there is tons of stuff to do during the day- just do yourself a favor and rent a car so you can drive the whole island. Don't stay the whole time in Waikiki it's a tourist trap. When I was there I would wake up early every morning at dawn and surf for an hour of two- come back and my wife would just be waking up... Then spend the day together...

For our honeymoon we went to Aruba. No waves there- and didn't expect it. I wanted to spend solid time together

Totally agree with Tahiti as well... I went to Moorea for my honeymoon as well.
Went for 2 weeks and surfed 5 or days. If I didn't surf at all it still would have been the best trip for both of us. Everything looks like a postcard.
I told my girl I'd take care of the honeymoon and it was a surprise for her. And she loved it. Took a lot of stress out of her life and I got to do everything.
She knew I'd want to surf, so I made sure it was somewhere she'd love too... Was looking in to Maldives also, but Tahiti was much easier travel.

We were actually on Oahu back in March but stayed at Sunset Beach. We did go to the south side of the island for one of the days we were there, but enjoyed the north shore a lot more. Honolulu and Waikiki felt too much like LA. I did surf at diamond head but she was much more into hiking at the time to want to go surfing at Waikiki. If we do go someplace that has waves, at this point I'm thinking barbados or central america.

As far as the responses go, I've gotten more good ones than I expected. Thanks!

Just keep in mind that there really are no waves in the Caribbean during August- although it might be surfing season in NJ- it's not surfing season at Barbados.

Now talk about surfing season- Central American on the pacific side is surfing season- but they call it rainy season. Actually August is right in the middle of rainy season- or surfing season. Your pick.

Btw you should totally get on that hello thread.... Just saying.... You'll get along better with they guys here and they will respect you for doing it

Also- another suggestion- maybe a different island in hawaii- it's a totally different experience

Or - I mean if you really wanted to go ALL OUT- check out the Belmar, nj. Best waves in the world- plus the best night life on this side of the hemisphere. The water is always warm too. All year round. Due to the laboradors

Winner winner chicken dinner! Horsesback riding, warm tropical breezes, long walks on the beach, snorkeling in the bay, good ganja, romantic sailing charters, Soupbowls.

My buddy from Nags went on his honeymoon to Fla. He checked in to the motel, saw the swell and ran out without consummating. To make things worse, when he got back, he laid down while his bride was showering for the big night. He woke up to his wife smashing his board to against the outside railing. So, in that spirit, he shredded her wedding gown. That marriage didn't last a farting spell.

I was thinking that Barbados could be getting early tropical swells at that time of year. I'll have to check into that.
