Are there any surf regulations, weird rules, odd localism or anything I should know about regarding surfing in Avon? Or is it pretty much like the rest of Pea Island? I'll be heading up there in a few days. Thanks.
Don't think so... ...I'm not from there, but surfed it a few times. There's a big parking lot right at the pier, just be sure to paddle out on the proper side of the pier so you don't get sucked through it on the inside...not that it happened to me or anything. Sick waves, hope you have fun.
