where is tommorows swell going to be the biggest in NJ? Usually monmouth county is bigger than lbi, but what places holds a SSE swell the best?

Monmouth is usually fun on southern swells...but why leave? Not worth the drive imho...when you on/near the island--plus the variety lately has been fantastic where you're at...just go to cedars during low tide...get pounded closer to home.

I would check w/NJShredmachine. Should be some 23 footers where he is.

Damn that was funny for sure!!!!!!

So are we going to have to start measuring east coast waves with the shredmachine scale like Hawaiians do with mainland waves?

Will probably not be as big as forecasted due to such an extreme south angle (170-178), but the short period will have well shaped right barrels everywhere tomorrow. Biggest will be between bay head and long branch versus very north or south Imo.

hahaha i doubt a twenty three foot swell is coming...but cedars usually holds pretty well so im probably gonna stick to gloucester ave...or check the wooden jetty. im just hoping its at LEAST 4 ft here, if not im heading north

i dont even know where to go in jersey anymore. ive been cut off for so long and havent been able to regularly check spots. its a crapshoot at this point but i would stay more north due to the angle

My guess is that for Monmouth and Ocean down to IBSP short period might bring similar size to most areas?

LBI has some slightly different beach direction but I don't know what effect that will have.
