Finally returning home to the beach after too long. I've always surfed farther north (the Dunes), but my family just got a place in Murrells Inlet where I'll be spending most of my break. Anyone have advice on where to surf down there? North or south of the Inlet? I'm on the north side, but I've got a boat or I can paddle across no problem.

Depends on the wind and swell direction, but it's a pretty similar setup to what we have here in Wrightsville. You should probably make the drive down to Pawley's Island as well, they have groins every couple blocks that hold swell really well when it is there, breaks much better IMO.

PI is your best bet for surf between Pleasure Island NC and Folly Beach. I rate it over the South facing beaches of Brunswick county because of their' narrow swell window.
