Gonna try and go for a feW hours can't make the trek for the better waves but going to enjoy some fun ones near home. I'll be somewhere in Avalon I'm sure most of you can judge where. As far as is it right? I'm not sure but it's been flat for too long. Ready to get some real waves in SC, CA.

I scored today and hope to tomorrow. I am stoked. I also just ate a lot of food. Hooray for me Mostly waist high but some bigger sets were to be had. Multiple sections with a turn per section. No complaints here plus it was 70 degrees
i was supposed to surf on christmas but the parents weren't too psyched on it for obvious reasons. that means i'll only have friday to surf, better get my 8 foot sponge out...
Had hoped to get out Tuesday, maybe Wed. First swell here in quite awhile. Had board and gear ready to go. But there was no help for it. My presence was needed at home in preparation for the Holidays. Family comes first. Maybe later this week. Just finished playing Santa. Gifts under the tree. All the kids are in bed with visions of sugar plums.... Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!
There are , and have been NO wave activity here in central fl for about 2 weeks , maybe ill catch someone waving at me. its the best I can hope for.
I just got out dawn patrolled it, surfed alone, i'm still all amped up from it. Wanted to stay in but I have to be somewhere by 11:30 and I cant smell like a stinky piece of rubber when I get there. I'm still all amped from the sesh though, waves were better than I thought they would be with the tide being deep this morning.
Well looks like theres a little bump for Rhode Island and Long Island. Too bad I'm sick as a dog and chest high wind swell isn't appealing enough for me to strap on all the rubber when Im headed to central america for 3 months on the 13th. Oh well, it will be surf vids and some christmas trees for me today until i feel better. Merry christmas to all! Hope you score especially my bro's in New England!
Got some chest high clean fun this morning. Wind came up really hard offshore about an hour in and put a damper on it. Water wasn't bad, air in the 50's. Now off to the family's get fed.
Got some Gulf waves on Christmas and still hung w/the family, best of both worlds, headed East tomorrow / Sunday for some long period ground swell.
thigh occasional waist hi and really clean. some guys riding short boards but it was kind of rolly and weak. I rode the log with my santa hat on and caught a bunch of fun ones. Coulda been worse happy holidays
