wyattecoyote i have friends in the truckee area you may know (i figure its a small place)...Even if you have to go to SC alone, it would be worth it. You'll never really be alone. I can connect you with a few people. I have a buddy in sac who plans to visit our other buddy who just moved to SC. They arent beginners and if you're cute they will most definitely try to sleep with you, but they are a good time and will go surf and be willing to bring out a beginner.
