http://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/23/s...t-region®ion=top-news&WT.nav=top-news&_r=0 Floridians would die there. But you northern buoys could definitely endure it. Not much different than surfing New England in terms of cold. This place looks other worldly.
Iv always wanted to surf and see the northern lights. Maybe not at the same time though. Iv heard that in nova scotia, at certain times of the year you can see the northern lights. Don't know how true that is, but if love to head there one day regardless. If you can see the northern lights from there, I'm most deffinitly be planning a trip around that
You can occasionally see the northern lights here in NH, but not often. But surfing with northern lights?? Who cares, I am surfing not hallucinating......
While surfing, I have had the lights knocked out of me momentarily on getting slammed by big surf....
I've seen stars a couple of times... South Jetty Bill would be all over this thread. He was all about surfing in the Netherlands. Cool article...
