looks kinda poopy... no offense. I don't think many people are enticed to surf this spot based on this shot.

So?? Surfline has a mission to ruin every surf spot in the world. They seek out little known spots, send a photog (I know one well), and pay them to literally "put it on the map". They also will pay locals for data on surf spots. We have one asshole in NH that sold very spot out, years ago.
But that is life, phonics. The days of quietly surfing for peace of mind are rapidly coming to an end. I am glad I am at the end of my surfing days (maybe anther 5 years). Pretty soon, you will boards with boom boxes in the lineup blasting rap into your face.

Even people here who surf don't really surf it. Its fun to laugh at while you run your dog. Usually its a bunch of sweepers and groms fighting for a puny gutless nothing of a wave.

What does this all mean? No spots are sacred these days. If you can get to the beach you can find a place to surf. We whine about having accessibility to our shorelines, and get pissed when our spots get crowded. Secret spots and favorite breaks have been done with for a long time now. Either we stop surfing or learn to play the game.
Not saying it's right by them to out a spot, but this is the age of info.

Yea I guess it's good they didn't give the specific location... Though it's not hard to find.

Plus it's totally a novelty wave
