Surfline censors the location of a photo

    doubt this picture is going to bring many visitors. i think this thread is doing an equal amount of "harm"

    i was more trying to start a debate on 1) the sanctity of the secret spot and 2) the fleeting nature of the secret spot in today's digital age.

    i could just go back to calling longboarders and sup guys ****s if thats what everyone wants.

    i surfed that swell there at whatever spot it is...the current was alltime and 1/2 mile walks after 10 to 15 minutes were norm...crowds would not be a factor and there was about 20 peaks over a few miles

    the more popular spot was more crowded but no one really getting good ones

    funny thing was i went there with another buddy and didnt see a soul 2 days straight...we both agreed to check it again next similar swell direction...then we saw it on surfline and said "you've got to be kidding me"

    the pic prob got the photog $100 or so .....worth it?

    where's the water shots and vimeo vids ....nothing is sacred...lesson learned..get it while you can and get up early!
