Got this alert today. This a good way to get people to your meeting but i can see it going so horribly wrong. Surfrider Foundation- Central Long Island Chapter will be holding a chapter meeting on Tuesday, September 17 from 7-9pm at the Long Beach Hotel. We will be showing a film from SMASH/ Tyler Breuer at 7:30pm! Long Beach Hotel will be offering a great special of unlimited wings and beer for $20 to anyone who attends the meeting. this whole thing sounds like a bait and switch to me. they lure impressionable people in with beer and wings then force them to listen to their dog and pony show. what's next? free surfboards?
