    Although I’m a fan of letting these Boyz figure it out on their own, this is a solid thread for “swellinfo” Cdog.

    I like where bassmon’s perspective is. I like to look at the systems and fronts swirling around in weird fashion trying to discern I’d swellage is probable...

    Thanks. I've used SI as a "general quick look", for swell, tide, wind, etc., but drill down using other resources, although SI does have some of this in the maps, etc. Thus, I don't rely on the SI site for complete accuracy, just a rough guide.

    I do like looking at the other sites (i.e., weather), and looking for fronts and "swirls", and as you say, potential swellage.

    I'm hoping they will resolve the forecast issue soon, but in the meantime it will be good to learn about the different tools and data available.. we'll all probably get better at reading the data, and score more waves (especially those of us that can't wall across the street and eye check it).

    I use this place for my fucasts. Usually pretty good except for winds... and winds on Nanny are everything.
