Friday was in my sights and all the stars were aligning as Swell Info was consistently forecasting chest high waves with offshore winds for Friday. Then today, the forecast went to knee high and onshore winds. No more of this!!! I may have to sue for damages.
you do realize that unless we get a tropical system, the chance of any mid latitude cyclone giving us swell is slim to none. summer time sucks around here most people are used to that. and commenting about a friday swell on a monday is also a little uneducated... three day weather patterns are only accurate about 30% of the time. so stop hoeing about this site not telling you what you want to hear and put your own site together
This is not something that I realized. Summer time sucks doesn't it! I was using my advanced educational powers to rely upon Swell Info to deliver me a swell on Friday... since two days ago when Swell Info so excited me. I was hoping it was within the considerable powers of Swell Info to deliver a nice swell. Your comments, Mooseknuckle, were very disturbing to say the least. Please have some faith!!!
We are still working on tweaking the gravitation pull on earth through space/time manipulation, and thus forcing an approaching weather system and swell. This is still in development, and we will post in the Swellinfo news section when we perform this upgrade.
That is such awesome news!!! Maybe an install of Office 2010 64-bit would speed up the process? Swell Info rocks!!!
stomach to shoulder, with NW winds 5-10kts in the morning leaving way for sea breezes developing in the afternoon. Keep in mind the tides though.
Depends upon how much warming takes place over the next few years... keep driving your V8 and you'll only need a 3/2. Here are your tides for the Ocean City Fishing Pier for Wednesday 05-15-2013 Low Tide: 5:58 AM EDT 0.6 High Tide: 11:53 AM EDT 2.9 Low Tide: 5:55 PM EDT 0.6
You better deliver. I'm putting off applying for a new job, buying a house and the conception of a child so I can surf that day because you forecasted it.
Close call today, Mr. Swell Info. The swell forecast was on the money but boy-oh-boy, the reporting of water temps nearly killed me. Thankfully, I passed on my favorite speedo swimsuit, as I sorted through my rubber gear early this morning, and brought my spring suit and .5mm fin socks. It was one nut freezing chilly water (well, both would have been frozen). A 3/2 or even a 2/1 fullsuit would have done the trick. Reading the forums was the make-or-break!
Yeah, oc md read 75 on here yesterday. Thats seems pretty high. 67-68 is what i see. but the swell was on point.
